CAPACITY BUILDING FOR TEACHERS
ERIRO under its Education Component conducted capacity building training for Teachers in Buvuma, participants included both Trained teachers and Teaching Facilitators from Tome Education Centre and St Mary’s Primary School Katuba on Buvuma Island. The primary focus was on enhancing educational practices and skills to empower educators in the pursuit of improved student outcomes.
OUTCOMES:
- Enhancing Teaching skills:
Teaching exhibited improved pedagogical skills and deeper understanding of student-centered approaches. - Increased collaboration:
The partnership between Tome primary school and St mary’s primary school resulted in a strengthened professional network, promoting ongoing collaborations. - Positive impact on students:
Anticipated positive effects on student learning outcomes as a result of the improved teaching methods and increased teacher engagement.
