Climatic Change
The world has been taken by storm due to the catastrophes in climatic changes and how in slow response and adamance the communities are towards what seem like the last count down of a time bomb.
Among other programs that ERIRO has launched in the Island community is response to the Climatic Change within the Island Communities.
Mr. Kyambadde as the founding father having a zeal for the Islanders, he has engaged himself into measures to steer Islanders to prepare them and so that they brace themselves for the unexpectable hence, before hand for any shortcomings that may result due to environmental degradation.
To catch up with time, through his agency ERIRO, Mr. Kyambadde has steered volunteer teams to disseminate and educate islanders on how to go about Climatic changes.
With love and sacrifice, he has reached out on different engagements and he has engaged others, and called upon volunteers, well-wishers in response to this drastic world problem making it possible to the islanders to be brought on board in fighting climatic changes.
We should well note that in many aspects, the island communities are left out and seem forgotten more especially being part and partial of the National resources and budgeting.
In a series of outreaches, he has engaged himself in tree planting, seedling distribution, follow-up and evaluation, community mobilization on how to go and deal with plastics, cleaning up the environment, speaking up towards this cause thus making and impact to a just society, better economy as world working together.
Trees have been planted, and the communities mobilized, disseminated and sensitized to love and protect their communities. In the last month of May campaign and reach out, over 100 fruit trees were supplied to the islanders and other seedlings planted by the response teams on Tome community school.
